Membership of the BAJ requires all applicants to pay a joining fee, which is £17.50 to cover the initial administration costs of setting up your membership account this is in addition to the monthly membership fee until the membership Direct Debit is activated. The joining fee costs will be invoiced and can be paid by credit/debit card.

Membership of the BAJ does not guarantee the issuing of a UK Press Card which is subject to a separate application process and is subject to separate qualification criteria. The joining fee is invoiced and can be paid by credit card.
